On December 10th, Ink Protocol Meet-up in Seoul was held at the Le Méridien Seoul. Ink founder Tang Ling and co-founder, Hash Hao, laid out the blueprint of Ink for guest and audiences.

ENT CEO Wang Xue, Storm CEO Simon Yu, Halal Chain CMO Crystal, COO Lawrence attended as guests; updating the audiences on the progress of the projects.

The South Korean pop idol group, T-ara, also came to support Ink. This conference attracted hundreds of audiences.

Ink finished its crowd-sale ahead of time on November 16, and was subsequently launched on major exchange platforms like EXX, Allcoin, Bigone, Gate, Coinegg, Lbank, et cetera. By the 4th of December, 24-hour trading volume of Ink has exceeded $60M. According to Tang Ling, Ink is currently engaged in discussions with several major exchange platforms in Korea and is expected to be launched soon on Korean Exchanges.

In laying out the blueprint, Hash Hao also noted that “In consideration of the huge market potential of the global cultural and entertainment industry, Ink is committed to serve and continually revolutionize the global creative industry with South Korea as an important node in our global reach.”

As a blockchain project engaged with the global cultural and creative industry, Ink has close ties to the entertainment world. T-ara, representative of the Korean pop music scene, has taken to the idea that blockchain technology is able to complement cultural entertainment positively. Tara explained, “In recent times, disagreement over IP rights has risen significantly. Ink is an excellent platform for artists to protect their IP rights to original music and other original creative works, and to also reap the benefits of their blood and sweat. We hope that Ink will be able to bring a new perspective to Korean cultural and entertainment industry.”

Wang Xue, Simon Yu, and Crystal also delivered their speeches respectively. It was noted throughout the speeches that Ink will be providing complete technical support to ENT, Storm and Halal Chain.

In the roundtable discussion which took place later, Tang Ling gave an in-depth review of the level of cooperation between the three major projects, “Ink will be focusing on the technological and protocol side of things and provide support for the underlying blockchain technology driving these different platforms. Ink’s technological innovation with respect to cross-chain communication has improved, and will continue to improve the efficiency in which different chain is able to “talk” to each other and resolve cross-chain transactions. This significant leap in technological advancement will blow the blockchain market wide open.”

Ink was also invited, on the 7th of December, to attend the ENT Korea Blockchain Meetup. Qtum founder Shuai Qiu, Spacechain founder Zheng Zuo, Tang Ling, Hash Hao, Wang Xue attended as guests to give an update on the progress of the project.
