On November 3rd, Team Ink marched forward to Toronto in Canada. Following the roadshows in Korea, Singapore, London and Silicon Valley, Ink brought the concept of revolutionizing the global creative industry to Toronto. Its solution and vision were broadly applauded and commended by the creative industry workers in Canada, blockchain enthusiasts and developers, and many internationally renowned professionals.

This roadshow is a high-end gathering for the Canadian blockchain space. Guests of honors are: Ink co-founder Songtao Xuan, Ink Chief Scientist Chang Chen, IBM Canada Microsoft global head Thiru Venkatachalam, Canada Blockchain Association, CopPay Consultant Rui Dong, and others.

Highlights of the Show

Ink Chief Scientist Chang Chen explained to the audience about the three main modules of Ink, i.e. Sovereign Consortium Blockchain, IP Asset Exchange Platform and Cross-platform protocol He showed the innovation and breakthrough of Ink in the space of blockchain. In addition, Chang also explained the strategic framework of Ink — Glocalization, i.e. a combination of globalization and localization. This is a dual-strategy targeting public chains and consortium chains.

Ink co-founder Songtao Xuan elaborated the current pain points in the creative industry, such as inadequate protection of original work, limited channel for circulation and low financial incentives for the creators. Ink caters to the specific needs of the creative industry. It has launched IP registration authentication, IP Asset Exchange, cross-chain value circulation and other features to form an entire application ecosystem. This will solve the pain points of the industry and brings tremendous evolution. Ink will re-establish the ecosystem of the global creative industry.

In the following Ink Q&A session, the audience took an active part in asking questions and showed great enthusiasm. One creator, for example, highly applauded the Ink ecosystem framework and market space after understanding the Ink project. He strongly believes, “Ink’s application system on IP authentication and IP asset exchange can precisely target the creators’ pain points”. While tackling the problem of IP, creators also need a bridge that can connect the global cultural circle. This will enable more efficient transfer of IP content and its conversion to liquid asset.

After social drinking session, the Canada Blockchain Association consultant Rui Dong drew on his expertise to explain the ICO investment rational and the trick to differentiate good ICO projects from bad ones. He said, “The technology of Ink follows the underlying architecture of HyperLedger. At the same time, it has improved and enhanced it. Such source code is very advanced among the many blockchain projects. At the same time, Ink has a strong core team and investment team. I think this type of projects has true investment value.”

IBM Canada Microsoft Global Head Thiru Venkatachalam also came to the show as a corporate representative. He introduced IBM Microsft’s blockchain strategy and roadmap in Canada. He also highly commended Ink.
