I understand your side on “not recreating the design cycle” — but also “dont be afraid of implementing new ideas” :)

I always have this urge to recreate and force the design to be unique, but in the end a client always prefer’s to make it look alot like Site A or Site B that he/she visited — which is understandable since the usability of the design is higher and only employs very little learning curve.
