None of this is Twitter’s fault. Twitter just allowed us see how things have been all along. The Trump presidency has made us realize how racist so many people are. It puts us face-to-face with ideas that otherwise couldn’t have been communicated. Trump is not Twitter’s fault. He gets a bigger share of media than anyone in the world (that’s a separate problem), and he’ll find a platform for his message(s) regardless of whether or not Twitter bans him.
