OK I have a few questions. First of all, we’re you making eye contact with people and smiling? I go out dressed decently and act confident and show kindness to everyone and even when I was caught in the backyard of a neighbors house no one called the cops it was just a swift apology and explication and I walked away without any bullets in my back. There is racism out there but by acting so victimized and constantly resisting we aren’t helping. If we all show how civilized we are and stop acting like we are being put down, then maybe the racism will decrease. It’s not just us, if a white person walks around acting defensive and worried about getting the cops called on them, then they look suspicious. Martin Luther King Jr believed that we should educate ourselves and be better people to show that we are equal if not better.

I apologize if this seems angry or rude. But i have very strong beliefs on this subject and so far they have shown to be very true. And I’m not saying that racism isn’t there but if we act scared and like we aren’t equals, then we won’t be treated as equals.
