Now that I have your full attention I would like to share some facts.
On February 7, Vladimir Putin signed a bill that decriminalizes battery. This bill transformed battery into an administrative offense punishable by an up to 485 EUR or 15 days in jail or 120 hours of communal services. It basically means that you pay to beat your wife/child.
In Russia, 10.000 women die yearly as a result of domestic violence and 600.000 women endure domestic violence per year.
So please, if you feel as outraged as we do, take 2 mins to sign our petition and share it with your friends and family. Be supportive of women and children of Russia.
