Election Results for Institute of Blockchain’s 1st Term Management Team

Previously, IBS announced the plans for restructuring and renewal. As part of this, IBS will be transiting to a not-for-profit blockchain school. 32 applicants applied for our 1st Term Management Team, 12 was filtered due to not meeting the requirements and 20 candidates proceed on to the election phase. Top 8 candidates will be elected into the new management team with the option of 1 to 3 candidates being co-opted into the management team by the IBS founders.

Institute of Blockchain™ 1st Term Management Team’s Election Results:

A total of 324 votes were cast and 273 are valid votes as 51 votes were voided due to invalidity.

Blockchain Community Vote: 96 votes (Vote weightage: x 2)
General Public Vote: 157 votes (Vote weightage: x 1)

3. Yeo Jiren: 49 votes + 9 Election Points = 58 votes

4. Ian Lee: 49 votes + 8 Election Points = 57 votes

5. Cathy Zhu: 41 votes + 9 Election Points = 50 votes

6. Francis Toh: 33 votes + 7 Election Points = 40 votes

7. Dr Rex Yeap: 24 votes + 7 Election Points = 31 votes

8. Manoj: 18 votes + 9 Election Points = 27 votes

(The co-opted members are based on the decision of IBS Founders as we feel that there is no Tech representation in the Management Team and we should have them. Co-opted members will form part of the management team with no voting rights).
