As we start another eventful semester as a club, We would absolutely love to share all the top highlights of last semester just in case you missed out on all the action. We also added a dose of practical advice and tips gained from all our meetings.

If you were at the meetings (you deserve accolades!), this will be synonymous to taking a small walk down memory lane.

The first highlight I'll be sharing during this series is... You guessed right!

Our "In Conversation" meeting with Bidemi Zakariyau.

VISIT TO JEE

The last but most definitely not the least of our activities was our visit to Jackson Etti & Edu, Nigeria’s leading intellectual property law firm. Our purpose was to intimate our Patron; Mrs Uwa Ohiku with our plans for the semester.

We were really excited to meet them. They had the same energy! Shocking yeah?

The meeting was an edutaining one to say the least and was anchored by Club favorite and our constantly available liaison; Mrs Tolu Olaloye, a Senior Associate of the IP unit

We had an exciting and informative discussion on the rules and treaties guiding IP, counterfeiting and commercialising IP respectively.

Thereafter, we stated the purpose of our visit. They were impressed by what we’ve been up to with the club.

And they treated us to lunch!
The food was bam! My taste buds weeping with joy. LOL no jokes.

The visit to JEE exceeded our expectations and was totally worth it. We are continuously grateful to have them on our side as key partners in progress.

If you’re still reading this, thanks!

Adios.
