Computer science is applied mathematics (before Universities had Comp Sci degrees, you got a degree in Applied Math — I know, I was there when this happened). Yes, computer systems are just mathematics, what else is binary operations? Yes, computation is just math. What else would it be? This is the problem with DL, people want to think it is some magic but its not, and is very easy to understand. Just because something is complex, doesn’t mean it can’t be deciphered. I say that any DL system can be hand calculated given enought time and paper/pencils.
Again, it is definitely not biological so if it’s not mathematical, what is it? The truth is that it is mathematical.
