Looking at The Big Picture with Out of Home Advertising

In our digital age, it could be easy to dismiss outdoor advertising. But one of civilization’s oldest forms of advertising is in the midst of a major renaissance. Between connected networks comprised of thousands of dynamic digital displays, partnerships that drive enhanced urban experiences, and new tools for brands to reach consumers with contextually relevant cross-platform content, Out of Home advertising has never looked better.

We’re excited to participate in TAB/OAAA’s annual Out of Home Media Conference & Expo, a three-day event where leading voices within advertising, marketing and media come together to explore how Out of Home is evolving to bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds, driving cross-platform buying and selling.

As outdoor advertising becomes an increasingly responsive medium, how are transactions shifting to reflect new possibilities within attribution, measurement, and more? Aaron McNally, Intersection’s Head of Digital Advertising, will share insights on the future of out of home transactions panel on April 19th. Joining him are Christina Radigan, Director of Marketing and Communications at Outdoor Media Group; Ian Dallimore, Director of Digital Innovation & Sales Strategy at Lamar Advertising Company; Michael Kennedy, Programmatic Media Manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev; and Andreas Soupliotis, President & CEO of Ayuda Media Systems.

The discussion will take a deep dive into topics such as the future of out of home transactions as we move towards impressions-based currency, standardization of audience measurement, and possibilities for real-time measurement and attribution.

On April 19th, finalists of one of the oldest and most prestigious honors for creative excellence in advertising, the OBIE Awards, will be announced. We’re honored to be a two-time OBIE finalist this year for the Montana Tourism campaign in Chicago with MercuryCSC, and Amazon.com’s MTA Holiday Gift Guide.
