Why? I see fake/paid articles everywhere
22. Take a stand. Service to auto-reference your stand on any topic
Why? This is a bit complex, the idea here is, among a list of topics to compare and criticize, the author needs a validated data, which is represented well. The author just needs to put in the topics and arguments he wants to represent in terms of data, and the service would provide user with various visual comparison of the data points and the features.

23. Mobile first — community driven Debate Portal
Why? People can talk about things openly, without getting trolled. A community driven debate portal for everyone.
What? Beautifully designed debate portal, which focuses on people putting out valid arguments and getting support for the argument. Think about this as discussion and conversation than just a debate. One to one debates, many to many debates, topics which people want to talk about, debates that need to be reopened, conversations supported by data.
24. Movie Distribution to theater via Streaming
I am not sure if this happens already or not, Netflix type streaming service should be enabled in the theaters, so that the movie theaters would just focus on providing the best in-house experience and need not worry about the movie collection, running time, etc.
25. Participate in Elections via App
Why? I was not able to vote, because I was traveling (business purposes). This would be the case with many interested voters. With the technology, where payments are happening with a “selfie”, can’t we manage Vote ?
26. Confession Platform
Why? Fun platform, where in admin can register his organization/university/school, and have anonymous confessions. I see a lot of confessions page on Facebook.
27. Smart Memberships instead of cards
Why? Quite literally, I have around 100 membership cards. I don’t even use them. Would it not be better to just have a simple app to manage all the memberships. Apple passes— not everyone is integrating with them, google has no passes.
28. Infinite Inventory
Why? Taking the local shops online. This is quite an old idea, now everyone is doing the hyper local deliveries already. Still it was an untested idea a few years back (6).
29. Open NGO
Why? I am a Watsi donor, and I get the idea about where my money went, this should happen for all the other NGOs as well, saving lives is equally important, to teaching, to feeding, to sheltering. I don’t trust all the NGOs, I want to know where my money is going. A simple platform, as Watsi, for NGOs and donors, which is transparent to donors and keep the NGO accountable would make the world a better place.
30. Effective Organization (starting from _inside)
Why? This is something I did within my company. My company builds a platform and also provides with custom services around the platform. We have a 100 developer strong team, not everyone is engaged all the times, and those who are engaged might be too busy to try anything else, how to make everyone engaged and keep on building awesome stuff ?
What? Think of a fusion between stackoverflow, freelancer, wiki, idea sharing platform. Every feature, which is not core to the platform is hosted like a project, any developer in the organization, if n0t engaged can take it as an extra responsibility and is rewarded accordingly with an acknowledgement and in leader boards. Developers get to learn quite about various technologies and concepts, specially helpful for developers learning a new skill and having a platform to test it out and see it work as it is deployed.
31. Special purposes keyboard — keyboard for e-commerce
Not very clear with what it should be, but instead of typing everything, I should be provided with complete words and hierarchic in the keyboard. Would be a better experience for me, example — usually
- click on side menu
- select men
- select boots
- select search
- type on keyboard
this can happen with just the keyboard.
32. Photo Meta Data
Why? Save space in data centers. Idea came from the movie Up in the Air, in the scene where the main character is holding a cutout of his sister and brother in law in front of some tourist place.
What? The pictures around the tourist place have same background, clustering them together would even show that there are about 1000 different angles on which picture has been snapped, background never changes. There are literally a million photos sharing the same background. People are interested in their photo in front of a place, they don’t care about other details. We can make the people data and the background meta data, disjointed and then save just the people data. Save the additional space needed to store same background image.
33. Shop Together, Surf Together
Why? Going to mall together and shopping together is fun. We interact, comment, discuss, and purchase together, might as well get a bigger purchase for a bigger discount.
What? A service, where friends can come together, invite each other, check out various products, discuss about the products, and make a purchase together. Simple and would be effective.
34. Graveyard for the companies
Why? A place where in failed companies can say their final goodbyes and the users can interact with the makers directly. Sharing their true feedback, why the startup was great and what killed it. Everyone should know, it;s not just about the startups it is also about the users it had.

A general note: I quickly wanted to get the ideas out, with as brief and as clear as possible. My thoughts could seem scattered, brief and incomplete.
