Newly minted tokens are not supported in standard on MyEtherWallet (MEW). This article gives you a step-by-step guide to adding BOLT Tokens to your MEW in both the New and “Vintage” user interface.

Assumptions

We assume here that you have already created a wallet, either directly in MEW, or on a Hardware Wallet or Metamask.

We also assume that you are able to log in to the MEW site and connect to your wallet address.

Our other guides to assist you:

  • Set up a Ledger Wallet using Ledger Live.
  • Set up a MEWconnect wallet with your Smartphone.
  • Setting up a Metamask Wallet.

MEW New

  1. Click on the bookmarked link on your browser. (https://myetherwallet.com)
  2. Verify you have the SSL Site name “MyEtherWallet Inc [US]” and closed padlock.
  3. Login to your wallet.
  1. Click on “+ Custom Tokens” — The “Add Custom Tokens” dialog will open.

2. Enter the following data (Cut/Paste from here for accuracy):
- Token Contract Addr: 0x9f235d23354857efe6c541db92a9ef1877689bcb
- Token Symbol: BOLT
- Decimals: 18

3. Click “Save” to permanently store the BOLT Token Information, and your BOLT Tokens will now be visible — The balance may initially be 0 if you have not received your tokens yet.

Tip: the ✖️ next to the token deletes manually-added tokens from the list.

Congrats, your MEW Wallet now supports the BOLT (ERC-20) Token!

MEW Vintage

  • Enter the following data (Cut/Paste from here for accuracy):
    - Token Address: 0x9f235d23354857efe6c541db92a9ef1877689bcb
    - Token Symbol: BOLT
    - Decimals: 18
  • Click “Save” to permanently store the BOLT Token Information, and your BOLT token will now be visible — The balance may initially be 0 if you have not received your tokens yet.
  • Click “Click to Load” for any other Tokens you have at this wallet address.
  • Click “Only Show Balances” to display only tokens which have non-zero balances.
