From Equities to Cryptocurrencies on Your FEED
As we set out in our white paper, one of our main goals was to create a robust social investing network for the cryptocurrency community. To initially turn that goal into a reality, we would be dropping our support for US equities in favor of cryptocurrency market data. We’re pleased to announce that we’re now officially supporting market data for over 235 unique cryptocurrencies on the platform. This is an exciting first step in investFeed’s pivot towards the future of investing.
Whether it’s Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin or Dogecoin (to name a few), investFeed users can now take the plunge and check out their respective market data feeds. For the initial rollout, we are displaying the weighted averages in USD — but currency pairs will be featured in later development updates. In the future, more options will be available such as historic trade and order book data from individual exchanges.
Support For Upcoming Projects
With the rapid adoption of blockchain technology, new innovative and thoughtful projects are hitting the market each day. investFeed is looking to showcase these platforms and generate thoughtful discussions — even before their release.
Our live feed additions don’t end with our initial group — we plan on manually adding cryptocurrency tickers as they emerge. Even if market data doesn’t exist at the moment, we will incorporate dedicated streams to allow the community to discuss the project in progress. Emerging projects will be able to build a following on the investFeed platform before their cryptocurrency even hits the market. This creates a haven for news and speculation to emerge while project teams focus on development.
Project teams in the future will potentially also have access to verified accounts that will be linked to their ticker live stream page. These accounts would have the ability to update information including descriptions and content on their respective pages.
Token Sale Ending Soon
There are only a few days left before the closing of our contribution period. Our token sale has been quite successful and we’d like to thank all of our contributors again — none of this would be possible without your support.
We plan on continually making sure that our community is updated with the latest information in regard to investFeed’s development. Development diaries will continue to be a regular part of content scheduling on the investFeed blog to keep users informed of our progress.
