As the year is about to come to an end, you might be thinking of replacing your old clothes with all things new. Fair enough. But before you discard your worn out denims and stuff your wardrobe with new Denims, here are a few pointers that you can use to make them last longer in and keep them as good as new for the years to follow! Take a look:

Avoid over washing your jeans

Even if your jeans fabric is made from washable covered spandex yarn, over washing can result in the fading of original hues. So when washing the jeans for the first time, toss in two spoonfuls of salt to help set the dye.

Avoid bleaching your jeans

Not only does bleaching mess with the color, but it can also damage the built of the denim. Instead, use lukewarm water and toss your jeans into the washing machine.

Always air dry

Air drying expands the life expectancy of your jeans to a great extent. Try hanging your jeans indoors, away from direct sunlight to help preserve its color.

Steam iron your jeans

To straighten out the wrinkles in the jeans, go for steam ironing as it gives it a fresh look without damaging the covered spandex yarn that’s infused into it.
