Invox Announces New Strategic Advisor Karan Bhatia
We’d like to invite our community to give a warm welcome to Karan Bhatia. He is the latest addition to the Invox Finance team, and will be working with us as a Strategic Advisor. Karan is a seasoned investment and FinTech professional, with over 15 years’ experience in credit and investing in the US and Asia, particularly in Singapore and India. At Invox Finance, Karan will be advising on all things credit and lending. His work has already begun, and he was instrumental in our investment partnership with Alchemy, and has been tasked with building out our book and user base around the world.

Karan has worked for Deutsche Bank in the Strategic Investment Group where he was a key member of the team, handling a large credit focussed portfolio across SE Asia, with a strong focus on India. Following his bank role, Karan was the CEO of X10 Finance which focused on supply chain finance solutions for SMEs in India. In this role, Karan built and managed US$80 million of lending within 24 months, and was able to successfully exit.
Additionally, he has worked in two credit funds in New York; Mason Capital and Puma. These funds focused on high yield credit investments, as well as special situations.
Currently Karan is working on a fund to finance the growth of P2P and alternate lending across markets using institutional debt. He wants to increase the use of blockchain and crypto to help lower the cost and increase access to capital for alternate lenders, and is advising projects working in this space.
Adam Mezhvinsky, Invox Finance’s COO, had this to say about Karan’s expertise,
“Karan brings to the team his background in investment, and as an entrepreneur. He also possesses extensive experience in the credit and lending space, which will help Invox Finance build out its loan book, form partnerships and, more importantly, help mitigate risk. Bringing Karan into the team is also a first key step in moving towards building out our global business as we wrap up the crowdsale.”
Karan had this to say about why he’s excited to join the Invox Team,
“Securing cheap and timely working capital financing continues to be a challenge for SME’s globally. Having founded and run a SME finance business I have seen these issues first hand. The Invox Finance team has similar experience and is addressing the core issues of trust and accountability in invoice financing through the use of blockchain technology. It’s a real project, with a real team, solving real world business problems. I’m excited to help out in this journey.”
Welcome to the team Karan — we’re excited to work with you to better small business access to low interest loans!
