News Flash (June 6): iO₂ is invited to join “Smart Impact Bonds 1.0" workshop
Dr. Tat Lam, CEO of Shanzhai City and Chief Social Scientist at iO₂, is invited by the ixo Foundation and UBS Optimus Foundation to participate in a design workshop “Smart Impact Bonds 1.0" on 7 June 2018 in Switzerland.
The UBS Optimus Foundation and the ixo Foundation will hold a facilitated design workshop to create the next generation of impact financing mechanisms, using Web3 and blockchain technologies between 7 June and 8 June 2018.
In this workshop, Lam will share his knowledge and experience gained from Shanzhai City project on the requirements and opportunities for bridging traditional systems with new technologies, to design Smart Impact Bonds.
The goal of the event is to generate 3-5 technical white papers on topics decided by the group, that will make the greatest collaborative contributions to the future of impact financing —see Details on Eventbrite.
