Hmm, I highly doubt Harry would still want to walk to his death if he didn’t see Snape’s memory. I’ll admit, I am not a huge fan of Harry personally. The one moment that defines him for me is when he chooses to confront Voldemort directly by calling him “Riddle” at the final battle. Harry, as a character, would have never wanted to walk to his death if he didn’t know Dumbledore wanted him to do that personally (through Snape’s memory on the Pensieve). He would have come up with some other plan to face Voldemort. The entire Snape giving Harry the memory part is significant because that eventually leads to Harry confronting his fear of death and taking Voldemort heads on. And Snape is shown to be the hero in the process. I know he says he didn’t want his friends to die while taunting Voldemort, but seeing Snape’s memory and Dumbledore’s decisions further strengthens his resolve. My guess to your scenario would be Harry would have never gone to the Forbidden Forest if he didn’t see Snape’s memories.
