According to recent rumors, there will not be an iPhone 15 mini. Instead, Apple is expected to release a standard 6.1-inch iPhone, a 6.1-inch iPhone Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone Pro Max. This would mark the first time since the iPhone 12 lineup that Apple has not released a mini model.

There are a few reasons why Apple may be discontinuing the iPhone 15 mini. First, sales of the iPhone 13 mini have been below expectations. Second, Apple is facing increasing competition from Android manufacturers who are offering smaller phones. Third, Apple may be shifting its focus to larger phones, as they are more popular with consumers.

While the iPhone 15 mini is not expected to be released, there are still a few small-screen options available from Apple. The iPhone 13 mini is still available for purchase, and the iPhone SE (2022) has a 4.7-inch display. It is also possible that Apple will release a new small-screen iPhone in the future.

Here are some of the reasons why Apple might be discontinuing the iPhone 15 mini:

  • Low sales: The iPhone 13 mini has not been selling as well as Apple had hoped. In fact, it is one of the least popular models in the iPhone 13 lineup.
  • Competition: Android manufacturers are offering smaller phones that are more affordable than the iPhone 13 mini. This is making it difficult for Apple to compete in the small-screen market.
  • Focus on larger phones: Apple seems to be shifting its focus to larger phones. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are both rumored to have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.

If you are looking for a small-screen iPhone, the iPhone 13 mini is still a good option. However, if you are unsure whether or not you want a small-screen phone, it might be better to wait and see what Apple releases in the future.
