How to Switch from Galaxy Tab to iPad Pro

Apple started shipping iPad Pro from 11th, Nov. And i am lucky enough to get one today. I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab on my home but it’s dying and slagging. That’s the reason I bought an iPad Pro, the most anticipated tablet in 2015.

Once I arrived home, unboxing the iPad was a surreal experience — the tablet is huge. Huge! Even handling it in the store, I wasn’t truly able to appreciate its size until it was stacked next to my iPad Air 2. That giant 12.9-inch screen is one of crazy beauty, but it definitely takes some getting used to.

It doesn’t even really feel like an iPad, to be honest. It may run the same software as an iPad and have the same exterior controls, but I can’t imagine using this like I used my Air 2. (Which is to say, I think I’ve been severely underutilizing that poor iPad.) I understand why they called it Pro: When you have this machine in your hand, it practically demands doing real work. Especially when you snap it into the Logitech case, which makes it look like a strange, short laptop.

After digging around a few minutes, I have to get it to work: transfer the important staff from old Galaxy Tab to the iPad Pro.

Here are the simple steps you can follow to transfer the contacts to iPhone:

  1. Go to the Settings and choose Account or simliar option.
  2. Enter your Gmail account details and enable the synchronisation, your phone contacts should start to sync to Google Contacts.
  3. Then go to your iPhone and choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and type your Gmail account details.
  4. Just a few seconds later, you can find all your Samsung contacts are transferred to your iPhone.

If this doesn’t work as expected, then have a look at this tutorial(full transfer from Android to iPhone). It offers a more comprehend way to help users switching from Android world to iOS.
