Using Git to sync Sublime Text settings

I’ve found that the JSHint leave its folder and settings out of the Packages/User/ folder, for example, my customised .jshintrc file. Therefore, I set up a git repo in Packages/ instead of Packages/User to include the files.

However, when I tried to exclude all files except `Preferences.sublime-settings`, I found that the .gitignore file not working as expected. Just in case that someone will face the same problem as I do, I solve it according to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3667986/git-ignore-exception-not-working-as-desired
