I’d Get to the Top of the Mountain if It Would Just Stop Fucking Growing

Dia,

Thank you for all your years of sacrifice and soul poured into your craft, to read your story is heartbreaking, emotional, inspiring and heartwarming. If it wasn’t for a simple game I recently started playing and your super addictive song that keeps playing and when it doesn’t I want it to (Over It) I most likely wouldn’t be writing this. I myself had a dream of making it in the music industry but the competition for amazing percussionists is overwhelming and there comes a time when reality of family, bills, kids and their needs takes priority over your dreams (at least it did for me)…

You have such a unique style of singing and a voice that is one of those voices sent from heaven itself. That mountain is going to stop moving for you because in life persistence always wins. I’d like to share a famous quote that I hope will keep you inspired, From Calvin Coolidge “ Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”

Keep up the good fight Dia, You are worthy of greatness!!!

Sincerely,

Todd
