Unbelievably this is 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 German, the RF board is originally from Germany and reconstructed in China. Progress with this unique IP67 Waterproof submerged into water for 15 min not damaging any parts of the RF board and with a 3 feet drop accounting the Shockproof portion of this radio is just outstanding. I’ve used the radio for 8 years now and till this day it’s unbelievable withstanding durability throughout the years of usage indoors and outdoors. ICE X2 is one radio to keep through the years of just to have on your GO BAG. Battery is still functioning. 1 Charge, good for a standby with light traffic at least 5 days. The radio in the picture is about 9 years old with the original battery still holding and being productive throughout it’s usage in communication back and forth. Gotta Have !!!
