A man who became famous through poetry during his lifetime, but long after his death, the mosque built in his name and his grave became a haunted place for people because of the ghost story.
Some people’s curiosity and imaginative thinking gradually brought a historical place to the people as a ghostly place.
The Jamali Kamali Mosque in Delhi is one such place. That mosque and tomb was famous for its historical significance, but now very few people go to visit this historical place because this place has become notorious for being haunted.
Who is this Jamali?
Jamali was the pseudonym of Sheikh Hamid bin Fazlullah. Who was also known as Jalal Khan. He was a Sufi saint. Jamali was one of the best poets of that time. He came to India during the reign of Sultan Sikandar Lodi and settled in Delhi. If Sikandar himself was a poet but he would have respected Jalal Khan alias Jamali. Jalal Khan played the role of a royal poet during the reign of Lodi. Later, Lodi rule came to an end and Mughal rule began. But Jamali also played the role of a royal poet during the Mughal rule. After his death, Jamali Kamali Mosque and tomb were built in 1526–1529 AD.
The word Jamali comes from the Urdu word Jamal, which means beauty and positive aura. And this positive aura could be seen in Jamali’s poems. He would win the hearts of the people through his poems and words.
But the real mystery begins with Kamali, who is this Kamali?
The word kamali comes from the Urdu word kamali. Kamal means miracle. And from now on the mystery begins. There is no clear answer as to who Kamali is. Different people have different ideas.
According to some historians, Jamali was famous for his poetry and Kamali was an honorary title. According to some historians, Kamali was Jamali’s wife. Whose grave was given to Jamali. So the man of this mosque is Jamali Kamali.
And Karen Chase, a famous American writer, described Kamali as Jalal Khan’s gay partner in her book “Jamali-Kamali, A Tale of Passion in Mughal India”. And there are many secrets of this mosque about this Kamali.
jin’s story can be heard in the mouths of many people who come here. And for all these stories, many people today do not want to visit this historical place, where this place is located next to the Qutub Minar. It is said that when one walks here alone, he occasionally sees a man dressed in white. Many people who come here feel some supernatural power coming near him. Many fell ill after returning home from the mosque. Many people say that when one turns here, a gene never pushes or slaps. But no one knows who this supernatural jin is.
This historic site is now under the Archaeological Survey of India.
Talking to the security here, it is known that he has never encountered such ghostly activities. Nor is he ever afraid to be here. He spent many nights at the mosque as a security guard, but his body was never affected by any ghostly effects.
However, he also said that many boys and girls used to come here who would write their names on the walls of the mosque. So even if you don’t see ghosts, you can see how people destroy a historical place.

কোনো একজন মানুষ যে তার জীবন কালে কবিতার মাধ্যমে বিখ্যাত হয়েছিলেন, কিন্তু মৃত্যুর বহুদিন পরে, তার নামে তৈরী করা মসজিদ এবং তার কবর ভৌতিক গল্পের কারণে মানুষের কাছে ভৌতিক জায়গায় পরিণত হলো।
কিছু মানুষের কৌতূহল এবং কাল্পনিক চিন্তা ভাবনা ধীরে ধীরে একটি ঐতিহাসিক জায়গাকে ভোতিক জায়গা হিসেবে মানুষের কাছে নিয়ে আসে।
দিল্লির জামালী কামালী মসজিদ হলো এইরকম একটি জায়গা। যে মসজিদ এবং কবর তার এতিহাসিক গুরুত্বের জন্য বিখ্যাত ছিল, কিন্তু এখন অনেক কম মানুষ এই ঐতিহাসিক জায়গা দর্শন করতে যায়, কারণ এই এই জায়গা ভুতুড়ে বলে কুখ্যাত হয়ে গিয়েছে।
কে এই জামালী ?
জামালী ছিল শেখ হামিদ বিন ফজলুল্লার ছদ্মনাম। যিনি জালাল খান নামেও পরিচিত ছিলেন। তিনি একজন সুফী সাধক ছিলেন। সেই সময়কার একজন শ্রেষ্ঠ কবি ছিলেন জামালী। সুলতান সিকান্দার লোদীর রাজত্বকালে তিনি ভারতে আসেন এবং দিল্লিতে বসতি স্থাপন করেন। সিকান্দার যদি যদি নিজেও একজন কবি ছিলেন কিন্তু তিনি জালাল খান ওরফে জামালিকে সমীহ করতেন। জালাল খান লোদী রাজত্ব কালে রাজকবির ভূমিকা পালন করতেন। পরবর্তীকালে লোদী শাসনের অবসান ঘটে এবং মুঘল শাসনের শুরু হয়। কিন্তু জামালী, মুঘল শাসনেও রাজকবির ভূমিকা পালন করেছিলেন। তার মৃত্যুর পরে ১৫২৮-১৫২৯ খ্রিস্টাব্দে জামালী কামালী মসজিদ এবং কবরটি নির্মাণ হয়।
জামালী কথাটি আসে উর্দু শব্দ জামাল থেকে , যার অর্থ হলো সৌন্দর্য আর ইতিবাচক আভা। এবং জামালির কবিতায় এই ইতিবাচক আভা দেখা যেত। তিনি তার কবিতা এবং শব্দৰ মাধ্যমেসবার মন জয় করে নিতেন।
কিন্তু সত্যিকারের রহস্য শুরু হয় কামালী থেকে , কে এই কামালী ?
কামালী কথাটি এসেছে উর্দু শব্দ কামাল থেকে। কামাল কথার অর্থ হলো অলৌকিক। আর এখন থেকে শুরু হয় রহস্য। কামালী কে তা নিয়ে কোনো সুস্পষ্ট উত্তর নাই। বিভিন্ন মানুষের বিভিন্ন ধারণা।
কোনো ঐতিহাসিকের মতে জামালী তার কবিতার জন্য বিখ্যাত ছিলেন এবং কামালী ছিল তার পাওয়া সম্মানীও উপাধি। কিছু ঐতিহাসিকের মোতে কামালী ছিলেন জামালির স্ত্রী। যার কবর জামালির কাছেই দেয়া হয়। তাই এই মসজিদের ম্যান জামালী কামালী।
এবং একজন বিখ্যাত আমেরিকান লেখক কারেন চেজ তার বই “জামালি-কামালি, এ টেল অফ প্যাশন ইন মুঘল ইন্ডিয়া”- তে কামালিকে, জালাল খানের সমকামী অংশীদার হিসেবে বর্ণনা করেছেন। এবং এই কামালিকে নিয়েই এই মসজিদের অনেক রহস্য।
এখানে আসা অনেক মানুষের মুখে শোনা যায় জিনের গল্প। আর এই সব গল্পের জন্যই আজ এই ঐতিহাসিক স্থান পরিদর্শনে অনেক মানুষ আস্তে চায় না ,যেখানে এই স্থানটি কুতুবঃ মিনারের পাশেই অবস্থিত। কথিত আছে এখানে কেউ একা ঘুরলে সে মাঝে মাঝেই সাদা বস্ত্র পরিহিত কোনো মানুষকে দেখতে পায়। এখানে আসা অনেক মানুষই নাকি কোনো অশরীরী শক্তিকে তার আসে পশে অনুভব করে। অনেকেরই এই মসজিদ থেকে বাড়ি ফেরার পরে শরীর অসুস্থ হয়ে যায়। অনেক লোক বলেছেন এখানে এক ঘুরলে কখনো কোনো জীন ধাক্কা বা চড় মারে। কিন্তু কে এই অশরীরী জীন তা কেউ জানে না।
এই ঐতিহাসিক স্থানটি বর্তমানে ভারতীয় পুরাতত্ত্ব বিভাগের অধীনে।
এখানকার সিকিউরিটি এর সাথে কথা বলে জানা যায় তিনি কোনো দিনও এই ধরণের ভৌতিক ক্রিয়াকলাপের সম্মুখীন হয়নি। না তিনি কোনো দিন এখানে ভয় পেয়েছেন। তিনি অনেক রাত এই মসজিদে সিকিউরিটি হিসেবে কাটিয়েছেন ,তবে কোনো ভৌতিক প্রভাবে তার কখনোই শরীর অসুস্থ হয় নি।
তবে তিনি এটাও বলেছেন যে , এখানে অনেক ছেলে মেয়ে আসতো যারা তাদের নাম মসজিদের দেয়ালে লিখে দিয়ে যেত। তাই আপনারা ভুতের দেখা না পেলেও ,মানুষ কিভাবে একটা ঐতিহাসিক জায়গাকে নষ্ট করে সে দেখতে পাবেন।
এটি ছিল জমালী কামালী মসজিদের গল্প। এবং আপনাদের কাছে রিকোয়েস্ট , যদি কখনো কোনো এতিহাসিক স্থানে যান , সেখানে দয়া করে নিজেদের নাম লিখবেন না বা কাউকে লিখতে দেখলে বাধা দেবেন।
