It’s not that the world ended — though that’s a good story start, it’s that reading and writing changed, as it always has, and will. The novel disrupted reading when it was invented, right? So did film, The USA Trilogy, radioplays, video, and Snapchat.
Assigning “good” or “bad” to these changes is what concerns me. Figuring out how to use these new pathways keeps me interested.
