A NEW ADDICTION: PLAG**

Plag is one of the social media network and I met it thanks to my Digital Literature teacher Erkan Saka. Actually, plag is a different way to spread information. In plag you can create a bunch of information without limits also it is an unbelievable area to share your posts which contain pictures, gifts, videos, statistics or what you think. In plag, your posts are named “cards” and Plag works like a virus. When you want to throw a card, at the beginning it reaches the people who are closer you. For example if you are in İstanbul, firstly the people living İstanbul will see your cards. After that, If they spread your cards, rate of your infection are going to increase. However, do not forget that they may resist outbreak by skipping your cards. When I explain in this way, you might consider that Plag is a complicated and difficult to use. However, when you register it, you will see that it is really getting your new addiction.

Using Plague was my assignment for that lesson which I talk about above and nobody should deny that homework is boring. However, this homework is the first one which I did willingly. Thanks to Plag, I have met new people who are from other countries. The firs time in my life, I talked to a Chinese person. My critical thinking skill got improve. Because there is no requests to follow someone, you can feedback from foreign and stranger people for your cards. In consider, on Facebook, twitter or in other medias, you can just achieve closer and known people. Moreover, sometimes there might be a lot of news which are not represented in Turkish or other countries medias or on news websites. Then only then, you will learn all of them thanks to the gossips on Plag. For instance, had we ever heard about a girl who has died because of WiFi lines allergy?

Another reason why people like Plag this much is that counts are raising rapidly on Plag. As an example, you are sharing a gift and then you come back, your index is 100 people. This makes everyone sure. Of course there are some vulgar people in this community but you have an authorization to manage such people’s comments. Finally, If you do not trust your language skill, Plag is the best opportunity to contribute new vocab or some gramer, etc. Besides, you are going to want to learn a piece of new languages to understand other’s cards.

Go and register on Plag. You won’t be regretful.
