Hi Denis, sorry to hear that the last two examples did not resonate with you because you did not understand the references to latency and upgrades. “Latency” refers to response time between a stimulus (e.g. executing a search query on Google) and a response (e.g. getting results back in response to a search). “Upgrades” refers to replacing an existing component (in the case of Nutanix, the software used to run data centers).

This essay is the transcript for a talk I gave at UX Week which is perhaps a more technical audience (UX stands for “User Experience”). Thanks for your feedback and I will keep this in mind.
