The road to self-acceptance is hard-won. I’m a teacher and I face my students with a naked face every day. It seems to bother a lot of other people, specifically female co-workers. Since I’m also single, I’ve been told that I should wear make-up if I’m serious about wanting to attract a man. These comments sometimes do make me wonder if my appearance is lacking in some way.
