IRISnet (a.k.a IRIS Hub) is designed to be the foundation for the next-generation distributed applications. Built with Cosmos-SDK, IRIS Hub enables cross-chain interoperability through a unified service model, while providing a variety of modules to support DeFi applications. TL;DR

IRIS Hub is Upgraded to v0.16 with NÜWA Stage is LIVE & DeFi support improved;
Unit tests for Cosmos IBC ICS20 and IBC REST API(endpoints) were added;
The voting module of Rainbow was improved and the auxiliary function of mnemonic input was added;
Users can search HTLC-related transaction information in IRISplorer;
IRISnet #5 governance proposal has been passed & 10min DowntimeJailDuration is LIVE；
Bitcat has developed a tool to download of IRIS Hub full data and snapshot data;
UniCoins beta test for registration & invitation is about to begin;
IRISnet was invited to an interview held by X-Order.

Mainnet IRIS Hub

IRIS Hub is Upgraded to v0.16 & NÜWA Stage is LIVE

Nov 29 UTC, IRISnet mainnet IRIS Hub has completed its second smooth upgrade. IRIS Hub has been updated to v0.16. Now we are excited to announce that the development of NÜWA has been completed. IRIS Hub NÜWA stage is LIVE!

New exciting modules, namely Atomic Swap (HTLC) and Coinswap, have been added to IRIS Hub. DeFi application development support has been improved. Also, snapshot, a new function that is very popular among our technical community, has also been added.

Irishub Software

v0.16.0 documentation was optimized;
v0.16.0 was released;

Rainbow Wallet

Rainbow v2.7.0 was released:
The voting module was improved, information display and user operation were optimized;
Users can use mnemonic words to input auxiliary functions, with associated words and prompts, which is convenient for them to import wallets;
The one-click re-staking logic and transaction sending method were optimized;
Rainbow v2.8.0 is under design;
Cosmos Hub upgrade is under preparation.

IRISplorer

v 0.10.4 was released:
Users can search HTLC-related contract information, transaction list, transaction details, HashLock;
Users can view the Guardian/Profiler related transaction list and transaction details;
Delegation-related information was improved on the Validator page. Users can now view moniker in DelegationList and UnbondingList.

Community Updates

IRISnet #5 governance proposal passed & 10min DowntimeJailDuration LIVE

IRISnet #5 on-chain governance proposal has been passed with 60.56% participation & 99.61% YES. 10min DowntimeJailDuration is LIVE. Thx to all the validators, & delegators who voted via Rainbow.

UniCoins Beta Test for Registration & Invitation About to Begin

UniCoins is a Dapp featuring red pocket function in China based on IRISnet and Cosmos. It enables users to send cryptocurrency directly to others using a function of red pocket, create and share a lucky draw event, and make an intelligent bulk transfer. Bitcat supports full download of IRIS Hub data and snapshot data

IRISnet validator Bitcat has developed a tool for IRIS Hub, and it now supports download of IRIS Hub full data and Snapshot data.

Validators and community enthusiasts write reports and articles for IRISnet

IRISnet Validator Cypher Core wrote a bi-weekly report for IRISnet and posted it on its official Medium blog. Community member Nagato Dharma wrote an article titled “IRISnet Overview: Building Cross-chain Business Applications” for IRISnet.

Cosmostation Wallet Supports “Vote” for IRIS Hub in Android App

Cosmostation wallet now supports “vote” for IRIS Hub in their Android App for users to vote proposal. Cosmostation wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet developed by IRISnet validator Cosmostation.
