Plot

36 years after the events of Beetlejuice, the Deetz family returns home to Winter River after Charles Deetz’s unexpected death. Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened, releasing Betelgeuse.

Review

I recently had the opportunity to watch the new Beetlejuice movie, a film that has been in development for decades. Over the years, there was talk of a potential sequel set in Hawaii, which fortunately was never made.

Now, after 36 years, Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara have returned, joined by Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.
