Aesthet Individual Activity #4
Me and my girlfriend went to the national museum yesterday, it was our second time because the first time we went there, we went to other building with artifacts but now we went to the building with paintings. As i enter, i can already see the big painting of Juan Luna which is the Spolarium, it really captured my attention because just by looking at the picture i can see what the filipinos did to Heneral Luna, they tortured and kill him. It is also one of the greatest paintings in history. The second painting that captured my attention was the Bataan Death March because the painting showed how hard the filipinos went through back then and it also shows death, pain and struggle. The last painting was Black Nazarene because it shows how filipinos are truly devoted for the black nazarene and it also a tradition that until now the filipinos are still doing it. My visit to the National Museum has made me further understand, and appreciate, through the works created by masters of the past and present, what it means to be a Filipino.
