Wow! I would say your India thesis is right on the money and incredibly prescient. Dysfunction the likes of which people from other countries (say for Venezuela and Argentina) have not seen. And, gov that tries to ruin businesses left right and center. Banking sector is on the verge of full blown collapse. NPA’s are understated by about 80%. But, medium to long term they should do okay. (Not advice, I could be wrong). I am surprised you didn’t mention the economic disaster the government initiated called demonetisation. If you want to understand the current Indian regimes attitude toward anything look no further than that utter utter disaster. You can learn most everything you need to know. That’s a great primer.

As far as China, do not have the expertise. But it’s hard to predict how it will go. I personally hope they construct a more federalist government, lot more SAR’s. I feel that’ll be better for the people and the country. China future, just like NFLX, AMZN, UBER future is textbook example of knightian uncertainty — as far as I am concerned. Unknowable.
