I think people are too sensitive. I get it. The groups that have taken shots at you are an angry bunch (women, LGBT, Trump supporters lol), but they each have the right to be. These are groups of people who have most likely gone through different forms of oppression, discrimination, and their own moments of being misunderstood. Bullshit to the side, I really enjoyed this piece and your writing style (especially your anecdote of what you imagined an author looked like), but if I was one to shed some light here — because I consider myself a philosopher. So I know a thing or two about being nisunderstood — I would say to pay them no mind. Wherever you go, time or place, there will always be someone to take your shit WAY too serious. The only thing in this world we have complete control over is our mind and the emotions that inhabit that thunderdome in our skull. I look forward to reading the rest of your stuff.
