Great Brunch and Beer in Asheville, NC

There is so much to see and do in Asheville, NC. Between the restaurants in downtown Asheville, to the high peaks and hiking trails of the Appalachian Mountains, this charming southern city seemingly has it all.

But perhaps one of the best parts about Asheville is the two-night Beer Lovers Tours that the city offers.

These tours begin at 3 p.m. on Day 1 when you check into your Asheville hotel. By 4 p.m., you’ll find yourself behind the scenes of one of the country’s favorite craft beer breweries — Sierra Nevada Brewery. Their East Coast facility is an impressive as it gets and you’ll get to witness their entire beer-making process. After the tour, you’ll be served dinner at the Sierra Nevada Taproom.

On Day 2, you’ll want to wake up and have yourself a nice, big Asheville brunch to give yourself energy for another fun-filled day of touring breweries.

Once you have a full stomach, you’ll head to the Riverbend Malt House, which provides the area’s breweries with locally farmed artisan malts, and then Hop’n Blueberry Farm, a hops farm that also supplies local craft breweries.

Before the beer tasting continues, the tour allows some time for a little Asheville history and recreation. Visitors can choose between taking a trip to the Biltmore Estate, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains, or seeing the Adventure Center of Asheville.

Once the afternoon rolls back around, the tour of Asheville breweries will continue. Guests can choose a comfy drive or a stroll through the streets of Asheville to visit multiple local breweries.

The Asheville tourists will then get to experience some authentic southern barbecue for dinner. After dinner, guests can bring their own alcoholic beverages to the LaZoom tour, which is a comedic show on wheels that guides you through some of Asheville’s most famous sites and landmarks.
