The only problem from this would be that it would force creators to really hone in on one specific platform. For many content creators, they receive AdSense revenue for their YouTube videos, brand deals for posts on Instagram, etc. Digital content creators, to be truly prosperous, need all platforms to be successful. Though the idea of quality content across the internet without the reliance on advertisers is ideal, it’s a shame that the competition between platforms and advertising revenue will always be greater.
