A manager of Belarusian restaurant in Tokyo
Today is July 3 (JST). It’s the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. In commemoration of the day, we show you the story of a Belarusian woman who’s managed a Belarusian restaurant in Tokyo for a long time.
Belarusian does not celebrate its Independence Day to honor its freedom from the USSR. Instead, it celebrates the liberation of its capital city, Minsk, from the Nazi forces in 1944. Each year the country commemorates this occasion on July 3.
The name of her restaurant is also “Minsk”, so this is the very right timing for introducing you to herself and her restaurant. Let’s have a read!
