The Course of Time by Isha Verma

Check out the kids' e-book I created to help young minds understand the big bang. Join Astronaut Buzz as he explores The Big Bang Theory and the origins of our Universe at https://ishaverma2020.wixsite.com/thecourseoftime

Over the course of two months, I pulled out my *nonexistent* art skills and combined them with my research skills to create this book. It was an extremely *EXTREMELY* time-consuming process (mostly because of my amazing art skills). I spent an entire summer, drafting, writing, redrafting, rewriting, re-redrafting, re-rewriting —simplifying science for elementary schoolers is harder than it seems — but the result was worth it.

I initially started this project as a part of my school’s personal project requirement. It honestly felt like it was going to be a chore. But going into it Things got much more interesting. Check out this post where I share a bit of what I learned over my summer of research on the big bang theory. It was interesting to find out how much more there is to it, honestly speaking I thought I knew a lot about it before I started, so saying the overflow of new theories and information was a slap to the face is an understatement. Although that's what science is about right? — Expanding our knowledge and bending what we already know till it breaks and we find something new.
