Universities offering English courses in Kansai, Japan
Abstract – The blog shall try to briefly introduce the Universities in Kansai region of Japan that offer full time degree courses in English and for which no Japanese language ability is required.
Has coming and studying in Japan ever been your dream? The land of the rising Sun has more than to offer if one one is looking for studying at a University and expanding her/his horizons apart from just learning the language. This time we will try to cover the Universities in the Kansai region of Japan and the courses they offer to students (esp. International students) at both bachelors and masters level.
Reasons
The “Global 30” project, an initiative by the government of Japan, which consists of 13 selected universities that provide an excellent opportunity for international students to propel and challenge their limits.
These universities have an integrated state of art academic environment through which students can gain knowledge – theoretical as well as practical approach. The cultural aspect being that the modern Japanese society could be said to consist of a mixture of traditional and modern elements that make it culturally as well as technologically developed and flourishing.
What is Global 30?
Global 30 is a Government of Japan initiative where some of the best universities offer degree courses in English to international students, breaking the language barrier that earlier used to be a huge hurdle for people from outside to experience Japanese academics. At the present there are 13 universities under the project, four of them being in the Kansai region, selected by the govt. to enhance and promote global integration of Japanese academic institutes.
