Bootcamp challenges and how I have adapted in the last few weeks

From my experience, Bootcamp is all about building by learning and delivering as fast as possible. As you could understand, basically the biggest
challenge is how fast you can learn and how good is your delivery. Though all people are friendly here, the environment is not tolerant. In this article, I am going to share with you the Bootcamp challenges that I have faced and how I adapted.

Challenges are meant to be met and overcome.

The first challenge that I faced was to find and embrace a new technique to learn new technologies. Do you remember how we used to prepare for exams in schools? Read a book, watch videos and revise? If you have been in this system you understand well how long it could take someone to be confident to apply what has been learnt. It could take days even weeks to start delivering solutions from what learnt. Unfortunately, in Bootcamp, you only have two weeks to learn and implement web technologies into real-world solution. Even though getting to know the right way to complete the Bootcamp is a challenge, the environment is supportive. To most, challenges
are too big and working together worth the time than reading books, watching endless tutorials and keeps working spirit alive. This kind of teamwork system is not catchy at first, but when to become part of it you witness the potentials. It is more adaptive due to its benefits: you learn from your peers in less time and is a friendly system.

A person might have the necessary skills required to come up with a solution, however, missing attention to details might diminish the value of the solution. Here in Bootcamp, whatever you write either to operate at the backend or to be seen on the client side might all developed or designed with its user in mind. This is a challenging task for someone at the dawn of his/her career choice but yet a boost. I am training myself to see a bigger picture of what I write; the impact on the users and to the system.

Delivering is the important part; how you deliver may determine how fast you learn, how long it takes you to implement and how fast you may work on the client’s feedbacks assuming the situation. So delivering is the final results and output. At the beginning my deliveries were not smooth, however, I am improving the communication abilities and fast responses.
