ARMED ROBBERY ON THE RISE IN NIGERIA???

Crime rate in Nigeria has become increasingly high ,it is now been compared to days of Shona Rambo by some
Armed robbery to some may be termed as the act of involving the use of gun or other weapon which can do bodily arm.
In 2020 the nation wide endarsprotest led by young people opened a can of worms for civilians residing in Nigeria. The protest led to a political , ethnical and social division in the society. During the protest there was a lot of violent episodes between the civilians and security forces in Nigeria. A lot of conspiracy theories have comd up concerning why Nigeria became significantly insecure after the endsars protest , some say that the police became scared of civilians and went into hiding because they feared for their lives, that gave the hoodlums the freedom to come out into the public.
Recently a man was robbed by armed men while coming back from work in broad daylight while stuck in Lagos traffic, the simple reason that happened was because of the lack of policemen that are usually placed strategically around the area.
Individuals coming from distant parts of the Northern region like Taraba sometimes end up stoping at certain villages, getting on a boat along with the bus they were in simply because they want to avoid the main roads were they could robbed and maimed.
Nigerians are living in fear , fear that one day these armed robbers will walk free in Nigeria. Nigerians are scared for their lives and daily they implore the government of Nigeria to come their aid.
