I was spending around 10–12 hours daily i.e. 50 to 60 hours a week for last 5 years. I made two changes recently: started my day earlier by an hour and spent 8 hours daily. My productivity at work actually increased. When we fix our number of hours then we give in more concentrated effort into the task in hand as we dont have the ‘luxury’ of stretching the work time and wasting it in not required breaks.
