How A German Start-up Achieved 4 Mn € ARR In One Year

Embracing no-code solutions enabled FINN to scale at breakneck speeds and achieve 4 million euros of ARR in the first year itself with just 5 engineers in the team. As of today we have surpassed 40 million euros of ARR and FINN has more than 180 people with roughly 30 engineers!

About us

Hello everyone, FINN is a startup founded in late 2019 which makes car ownership fun and sustainable. We sell car subscriptions where we offer cars, everything included, so that the customer’s life is easier while doing some good for the environment at the same time. As for me, I am a senior software engineer who loves working at FINN. FINN is also a pro-automation company where we have automated almost everything.

Time is currency

In product development, time is your currency. The bare-minimum product will cost you less and can be done quickly, but soon, you will have to add security to your product, costing you time, then you might want to add some SEO, make the system bug-free and fault-tolerant, add internationalisation, have multi region deployments, more features, change requests and so on. With these long list of requirements, you will soon realise you will need more people and more time.
