There’s a whole lot of other jobs outside of engineering that will not be automated, such as caregiving (from taking care of an aging population at-home to nursing or dentist), creative jobs such as storytelling or certain arts or design, as well as high end cuisine, music, etc. Emphasizing the deep thinking that humanities provide is also important. Many of the programming jobs may end up automated with AI but you can’t automate great writing or the human touch of a kind caregiver.
