My opinion isn’t “all police are bad”.

I said this originally, but you don’t seem to get the point, so I’ll say it again. There are no “good” and “bad” cops. Whatever you may perceive as a “good” cop is someone doing what is required of them, as that is their job. I will not award “goodness” to cops who do their jobs. They’re doing the bare minimum.

Moreover, the entirety of the institution that the police work within is filled with racism (mostly anti-black and anti-native), hypermasculinity, apathy, and power hungriness. This is due to the fact that American systems were made literal centuries ago, when very bad, repulsive things happened and that was “acceptable”.

So, no, I don’t want to abolish the police. I just want them to do their fucking jobs and stop killing the communities they swore to protect. And right, they’re not, so fuck ’em.
