Israel Flag Football™ Opens International Recruiting Program
The Israel National Flag Football Team is opening its doors to Jewish and Israeli athletes who are interested in representing Israel at the Olympics in 2028.
After finishing 7–1 at the 2024 IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Finland, the Israeli Men’s National Flag Football Team (ranked #8 in the world) looks ahead toward their campaign for the 2025 season. The 2025 European Championship is on the horizon (location: TBD), and the Israelis hope to improve on their Bronze Medal finish from the 2023 European Championship hosted by Ireland. The Israeli Women’s National Flag Football Team (ranked #17 in the world) is also looking to continue their international success in 2025 after an exciting performance during the 2024 IFAF World Championship.
In preparation for flag football’s debut at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, Israel Flag Football™ invites Jewish and Israeli athletes (18+) to submit their applications for the 2025 International Recruiting Program for a chance at joining the Israeli National Flag Football Teams.
The 2025 International Recruiting Program will begin in June when selected athletes will fly to Israel. Athletes will train alongside players and coaches from the National Teams as they prepare for the 2025 IFAF European Championships. Some key updates about the program:
- Open to both men and women for each respective National Team
- Accommodations in Israel
- Training under the supervision of National Team Coaches
- Shared practices and scrimmages against National Team Players
- Testing and Evaluation for National Team consideration
