About healing & improving the self

We all know that walking is good for the mind and the body, it’s an activity which allows us to unwind, think and meditate, all at the same time we exercise by doing some cardio, improving our overall health. Point is take care of yourself, take your time, try to walk, walk everyday, write a blog on your way 😉.

Time is not our enemy, time is our ally.

Be creative about the use of your time, although it comes free with life, it’s our most precious non-renewable resource. There is a grey area between multitasking and screwing up two things at once, find it and try to live within it. Don’t overburden yourself by multitasking and avoid dumb mistakes focus all of yourself into somethings. Mix in different activities which are not mutually excluding and pay great attention to detail when you are working on your primary crafts.

Squat while doing bicep curls, to take a few minutes back from your workouts, if that’s your thing.

Exercise becomes addictive once you realize and experience its healing effects, specially its benefits on the mind, use it wisely. If you’re mad do some high intensity cardio, if you’re sad do some low intensity weight, if you’re happy play some sports, and if you’re feeling meh mix them up. But be mindful of your energy levels, don't over do it, know your limits, respect them, and push yourself, exercise as often as you can. Working out will become the physical manifestation of your will and discipline, use it as the metric of your commitment to your goal. Exercise whilst you work towards your goal, it'll help you keep your head straight, your morale high, and your confidence healthy.

Your body will reflect your progress and it will be sweeter that way.

Eat right so that you get it right. Nutrition is a tough one but thankfully there are now a lot more resources out there, trust whatever source you like. But in general, keep away from things with more than 20g of sugar, be careful with salt (sodium) a good rule of thumb is around don't eat more than 500 mg per meal, ignore calories just keep breathing and that'll do with them if like number keep it around 2,400 (±200), and seek proteins try to keep it between 75% and 100% of your full bodyweight. Don't be afraid to treat yourself every once in awhile, at least once a week, but keep your discipline and nutrition on mind when you do it. Listen to your body, it'll tell you when you are doing things right.

Sugar might be the actual enemy, moderate your intake.

If you’re not reading at least an (one full) article about what you're passionate once a day (everyday), I guarantee your are heading nowhere near your dreams, you’re not even boldly heading nowhere you are just becoming stagnant. Reading is a great place to start, but don't stop there watch videos, ask around, talk about it, and try things for yourself. Crave knowledge in every opportunity, it'll only help you achieve and overcome.

Knowledge come in many ways, cease it!

Finally, meditate very often, keep yourself centered and relaxed. Nothing else in the world matters more than well being, anything else your mental health will get you there. Keep your mind healthy, sleep well, get quality downtime, and make your life enjoyable in the process. With the right mindset

Your mind is you, it's what you are, keep it well, keep it alive, guard it, treat it right as only you know how to do it.

Many of us live an unbalanced life

The faster we realize that this unbalance is hurting us, the faster we can address it. There is a well known secret that no one wants to admit, we are all geniuses, we are all capable, and we know what limits us, if you are able to say it out loud, you will overcome it, the faster you get work on it the sooner you'll reap the benefits and rewards of your capabilities and your dreams. Keep yourself strong in every sense, I know you can do it.

I wrote this article backwards hoping that if you just skim it, if you get anything from it, it is the advice we all know the rationale behind it.
