Eric Holder & Voting Rights

Eric Holder, former Attorney General, states the most important work he did while in office involved voter rights. He fought against states that required IDs to vote as well as cuts to early voting and prevention of million of felons from voting.
Now, as Chair of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, Holder plans to combat unfair gerrymandering such as the Illinois racially draw maps deemed unlawful by the Supreme Court. He plans to file numerous law suits in order to have an independent commission draw the new maps for the upcoming 2021 census.
Voting is important, but what about the years in between each election? The representative you elected should be representing your beliefs, but how can they do so if they never hear your opinion? You can call their office, but there are only a handful of staffers to answer calls from thousands of other constituents. The simplest, surefire way to contact your rep is through email.
IssueVoter does all the work for you. It finds out who your rep is, explains and informs you of every bill involving an issue important to you, and allows you to send your rep your opinion with a single click. After the bill is voted on, IssueVoter informs you of the outcome and how your rep voted.
Let’s make sure that everyone can vote — and while we’re at it, make our voices heard year-round, not just during election season with IssueVoter. All it takes is a click!
