I believe today’s lesson was a success! Thank you all for your efforts and time!
If you would like to see the video examples that we didn’t have time for, here is a link to the Prezi.
Some of the video samples include:
- Examples of point dances done by a boy group, GOT7, for different girl groups — The music videos are not shown to the members. They are tested on if they know the point dances of the girl groups, so it is shown as a comparison.
- INFINITE’s “The Eye” MV — This is the one with interesting chord progressions and choreography that work together to create the symbolism of a storm and encompassing all of these visuals to create a concept revolving around a storm.
- How to give foreign-sounding songs a more “Korean Vibe” — This is with Henry Lau and the CEO of Antenna Music in South Korea. Henry is a foreign idol, and he asked the CEO how to give his songs a Korean vibe. So, the CEO “koreanified” the song “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. This starts at 3:55. Anything before that is Henry Lau showing how he would woo a girl with his mad piano skills.
