This really resonates with me as a Deaf person. Code switching is something that I do on a daily basis but with the Hearing world. Spoken language vs signed language, as well as the various mannerisms and ways of being that you’ve pointed out here. ❤

This delicate code switch dance… sometimes I want to stop, turn off the goddamn White Hearing music, and put something hella awesome on, and just kill the dance floor. I live for the moments that I do.
