Women in IT: general situation
I work more than 6 years on IT industry as a quality assurance engineer. During this wonderful 6 years I had opportunity to work in different types of collective, the women ones and the man ones.
As a girl from the east i have no doubts that women will find right way to deal with any kind of women and know how to react correctly once she is in some tough situation where the vast majority are women.
Lets see what is going on when woman working on man-only collective.
First thing I’d like to talk about is about general situation and in future posts I’d like to go deeper in some issues or even find out more.
- There are no equivalence in gender. Obviously. And that is not due to that man kind is bad. It’s because woman allows it and man successfully use it. It’s totally natural don’t want to share your rights and power you always has with someone who never had them.
- Once woman and man face the same problem woman has much more doubts if she can deal with it than the man. Meanwhile man always sure on 100% that he can deal with any kind of issues. Even if his knowledge base in this area is equals to 0.
Why? Don’t know but still think that is the result of education and way of thinking that we are getting used to from the childhood.
That is exact area when woman needs to take an example from man. It’s true that you is what you think about yourself.
3. On unconscious way man is getting nervous one the women making better something than he is. They are getting nervous and try to supplant the women. They simply try to get rid of new rival on the field. I repeat that’s not because they are the bad ones. It’s just because we need to change their habbits. And we are and we will.
4. Women making errors by not using their sexuality. The idea that women in IT is an ugly girl with mustaches is totally wrong.
Have you ever seen man stop using his muscular power only because he wanted to merge with woman collective. No.
Be sexy and enjoy it.
