Watch Rare Video Footage of Steve Jobs Building a Start Up

The Apple founder’s unique way of thinking has reshaped the world. His impact and legacy revolutionised the way we live today. To think we wouldn’t have iPods, iPhones or iPads, if it wasn’t for this one man.

But, it wasn’t just his innovative mind which made him so remarkable. Jobs’ unique approach to business allowed him to lead small teams into empires.

I’ve heard both positive and negative stories about Steve Jobs’ leadership qualities, as I’m sure most successful leaders will also have. Being the private man he was, there’s little video evidence of Jobs’ business actions; which is why I was over the moon when I discovered this lost video.

In 1985, Steve was forced out of his company, Apple.

(He would later return to Apple, to turn it into the business empire we all know and love today)

Just a few months after leaving Apple, Steve Job’s founded a new start-up called NeXT.

This rare video footage shows a 31-year-old Steve Jobs, on a company retreat, in the beginning, months of NeXT.

I enjoyed watching this lost video, I hope you liked it too. Hit me up on Twitter (Louis John), and let me know what you think.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
